AWE Communities are master-planned, mixed-use, regenerative communities designed and developed as exemplary beacons and blueprints of conscious living to positively transform our environment, beliefs, behaviors and culture to create a world of Abundance, Wellness & Empowerment.

One of the greatest influences on our beliefs, behaviors and culture is our environment. Our communities, where we live, work, learn, play, and commune with family and friends, and spend most of our lives represent the most impactful of all environments.  Currently, the majority of communities in our society are detached from nature, create isolation from our neighbors, and cause dependence upon money for such things as water, food, energy, materials, goods and services.  Our current communities result in dependence on an inefficient greenhouse gas belching supply-chain contributing to climate change, the dependence on automobiles, and the generation of unnecessary waste.  In today's urban and suburban design, it is very difficult to be self-sufficient, regenerative, ecologically conscious, loving, connected, and healthy.

Creating communities that make it easy, cost-effective and rewarding to be socially and environmentally conscious will transform the destructive societal belief systems, behaviors, and culture that arise from our current urban and suburban communities to beliefs, behaviors, and culture that are regenerative, respectful, collaborative, connected, loving and healthy.

Utilizing a hybrid model that combines profitable real estate development with new-paradigm and regenerative economic development (e.g., aquatech, agritech, cleantech, optimal wellness, experiential retail, lifelong learning and biomimetic materials), and intentional eco-communities that foster ecosystemic thriving, AWE Communities will focus on providing its community members with a higher standard of abundant, well, and empowered living for significantly less money, time and effort than is required in our current society.

Each community will span between an average of 500 to 1,000 acres and, fully populated, will house a target population averaging between 500 to 1,000 community members plus a population of 500 to 1,000 residential owners, including their families.  The community will be designed to preserve a significant portion of the land for regenerative agroforestry, recreation and conservation.  In order to create a profitable development strategy, AWE Communities will target a 1:1 ratio of homeowner residents to community residents that rent.

AWE Communities will provide its members with (i) sustainable housing, (ii) fresh nutritious organic foods and phytomedicines, (iii) renewable energy, (iv) new paradigm economic opportunities, (v) whole-person wellness center and healthcare, (vi) applied and interactive education, (vii) conscious childcare, (viii) clean transportation, (ix) technology, science and innovation centers, (x) creative centers for art, music and media, (xi) and entrepreneurial centers to help community members start their businesses “ all for significantly less money, time and effort than is the norm in our current socio-politico-economic structure.

To create a sense of freedom while maintaining respect for the space and privacy of other members, mixed-use zoning will be employed.  Although community involvement, participation and celebration are encouraged, so is respect for members’ desire for quiet, focus, contemplation, meditation and rest.  Thus, separate zoning will be provided for the following activities:

  • Residential

  • Conservation

  • Community

  • Recreation and sports

  • Private and quiet

  • Events

  • Industrial

  • Resort

  • Commercial

  • Meditation, spiritual, contemplation and silence

  • Agricultural

  • Music, dancing and celebration

 

By providing the foregoing zoning, we can accommodate the dichotomous nature of humans for privacy vs. socializing, stillness and rest vs. active engagement, quiet vs. noisy activities.  Also, the mixed-use zoning and planning provide many opportunities to build a robust and abundant economy.

By combining profitable real estate development with socially, environmentally and economically thriving community businesses and a healthy lifestyle, this hybrid model will drive real estate value, demand and sales.  Additionally, AWE Communities can provide residents and investors with diversified income streams from community businesses, including science, technology, information, media, communications, resort and hospitality programs, wellness centers, education and personal development programs.
